How To
Place a Hold
On the computer
catalog:
A library
card and
a password are required.
Search the catalog
for the item you would like to have held for you:
- Use either Browse
or Keyword to find the item you are looking for.
- Click on Place
Request (beneath the author/title/call number information)
to place your hold.
- Enter your barcode
number from your library card (without spaces) and your password.
- Select Pickup
Library (choose the library where you would like to pick
up your item).
- Library staff
will contact you when your item is available.
By phone:
- To reserve fiction,
books on tape, DVDs, audiocassettes, or compact discs: Call
Fiction & Media: 730-4200/option 6.
- To reserve nonfiction
items: Call Reference & Information: 730-4200/option 5.
- To reserve children's
and teen items: Call Youth Services: 730-4200/option 4.
