Branch Libraries - The Mt. Royal and West Duluth Branch Libraries provide general collections of popular books, magazines and media materials for people of all ages. Mt. Royal: 218-730-4290; West Duluth: 218-730-4280.

Circulation- The Circulation area checks materials in and out and manages records that relate to library users, including fines, items checked out, library cards, and passwords. Telephone: 218-730-4200/option 3. Automated Tele-circ (allows you to check on account information and items out and to renew materials): 218-730-4200/option 2.

Community Services - The Community Services office handles publicity, programming and the library website. The staff liaison to the Duluth Library Foundation is in this office. Telephone: 218-730-4236.

Home Library Service - monthly delivery of materials to people unable to physically visit the library. For more information: call 218-730-4200/option 6.

Interlibrary Loan - Materials the Duluth Public Library does not own may be borrowed from other libraries. Telephone: 218-730-4228.

Reference and Information Services - The Reference staff uses print and non-print resources to answer questions in the library and over the telephone. Telephone: 218-730-4200/option 5.

Technical Services - The Technical Services area processes library materials, getting them ready to appear on the shelves, and maintains the library's automation system and catalog.
