Tuesdays With Morrie
Mitch Albom is one of the finest columnists in America and we are proud to welcome him to Duluth. Even as we read Tuesdays with Morrie and marvel at Albom's skill with the written word, we should be mindful of some of the greater truths the book contains.
The process by which we help grieving families deserves our heartfelt consideration. In many cases, the passing of a loved one can be just as difficult for those left behind.
The greater Duluth area has a number of fine resources to help those who must deal with the tragedy of losing a loved one. If this fine Library presentation and the work of Mitch Albom do nothing else, it is my hope that it will encourage those in need to seek out the services available to them.
