Feeling It Out
1:30. - 3:00 p.m.
For kids in grades 4 - 6

Poetry can reflect on and express your feelings. After hearing poetry read aloud, talking about what makes a poem, and discussing how writing (and reading) poems can help unlock feelings, you'll have time to work on two poems of your own.

There will be a snack break during each session, to help sustain creative energy!

The poems written in each workshop will be published in booklets
that will be available for participants at the Youth Services desk on Monday, April 19.

These events were funded in part with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008, which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota's arts and cultural heritage, and are co-sponsored by the Arrowhead Library System.
