Note to Adults: Each workshop is intended as an independent activity to encourage your childs creativity. During the sessions, adults are invited to browse the Librarys collections after they drop off their child in the Green Room.

For kids in grades 1 - 3
Use your senses to explore color
and nature in poems. After hearing several poems and talking about
elements found in poetry, you'll have time to work on two poems
of your own.
Feeling It

1:30. - 3:00 p.m.
For kids in grades 4 - 6
Poetry can reflect on and express your feelings. After hearing poetry read aloud, talking about what makes a poem, and discussing how writing (and reading) poems can help unlock feelings, you'll have time to work on two poems of your own.
