Movie: Bye,
Bye Birdie
It was the best
musical ever. If you loved Grease or High School Musical, you
will love this movie. It is about teenage girls who fall in love
with a huge Elvis Presley wanna-be. But he is chosen to go to
war. All of the girls are sad. But he gets to kiss one girl from
Ohio.

Movie: Little Miss Sunshine
Good, funny, but
NOT [a] family movie. Some bad stuff in there.

Movie: Howl's Moving Castle
The animation is
fantastic - every detail is meticulous, creating a vivid world
that draws you in. The story that it tells is engaging. It makes
you keep watching until the end. I also appreciated the subtle
details in the movie that add depth to it - like how Sophie transforms
from an old lady to a young woman depending on how she feels.

Movie: A Walk to Remember
This is a very
good movie because it made it seem like it was happening in real
life. The movie is about a girl named Jamie who lives with her
dad who is a reverend. Later on in the movie she falls in love
with Landen Carter and people in school make fun of them. At the
very end Jamie is in the hospital because she has leukemia.

Movie: The Benchwarmers
This movie is hilarious
while it teaches an important lesson. Everyone is equal. BENCHWARMERS
is one of those movies you want to watch over and over again.
Eva T., age 14
It is about baseball. The characters are awesome
and it is really really funny.

Movie: Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest
I am a huge fan
of gory movies and of pirates as well, and this movie not only
has gore, but Johnny Depp performs a spectacular part once again
as the notorious Captain Jack Sparrow. This movie has adventure,
mystery, and it holds a lot of unanswered questions about Will
Turner and his father. The movie also holds humor - TONS of it,
in fact. I would totally recommend this movie to any pirate freak.

Movie: It
"It"
is, like, the cheesiest movie I have ever seen. I'm not kidding.
Based off of Steven King's book about a homicidal clown, the movie
version is a great deal cleaner. It's fun to watch just because
of the plot.

Movie: The Ring
The best horror
movie I have ever seen. It's more of a phychological thriller,
and you wouldn't think a little girl could be so creepy, but watch
out!

Movie: Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl
I don't really
need to give an explanation of why I like this one so much, but
I will anyway. Johnny Depp gives an unforgettable performance
as the not very good and often drunk pirate Jack Sparrow. The
movie mixes comedy, action, drama, and a bit of horror all in
one.

Movie: William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet
Leonardo DiCaprio
and Claire Danes both do a phenomenal job portraying Shakespeare's
star-crossed lovers in this remake set in modern times. I really
liked it because the setting was modern, but the language was
the original Shakespeare.

Movie: Elizabethtown
I thought this
movie was going to be really stupid because all my friends said
it was, and I'm not a big Orlando Bloom fan. But I ended up really
liking it, it was super cute!

Movie: West Side Story
This musical spin-off
of Romeo and Juliet is a wonderful play. I loved the lyrics
and diversity of the characters.

Movie: About Schmidt
This movie basically
just sucked horribly. The main character's life is plain depressing
and it doesn't improve at the end. Please, never ever rent or
buy this movie.

Movie: Thirteen
It tells how life
really is for a teen and what teens go through. Most of the people
I've talked to feel they can't kinda relate to this movie.
Stephanie, age 15
Movie: Mean Girls
I feel like I
can relate to this movie and it's funny and it's about what high
school is really about.

Movie: Are We There Yet?
I thought it was
a great family movie and great comedy. I would suggest it to anyone
who likes comedy or the actor Ice Cube. The kids in the movie
are little brats and Nick (Ice Cube) has to bring them on a road
trip in his NEW car. They end up completely ruening his brand
new car, and well... I won't spoil the end for you. You'll just
have to find out yourself.

Movie: Meet the Fockers
because it was
really funny and enjoyable. it is a teen sort of movie.
