The Duluth Public Library
is pleased to announce the selection for Duluth's second annual
Reading: Bridge to a Wider World project. Once again, all
members of the community will be encouraged to read and discuss
the same book.
The 2003 book selection is
Mitch Albom's Tuesdays With Morrie, a New York Times Bestseller.
Tuesdays
With Morrie is the story of an old man, a young man and life's
greatest lesson. It is a poignant story of a professor and student
confronting death, our ultimate common ground, and how the professor's
wisdom can help all of us.
The Duluth Public Library Reading:
Bridge to a Wider World Committee has planned community-wide events, most occurring during April, 2003,
featuring the book. A resource guide is available at local book
stores and libraries, and the same information is available by
clicking on the links at the top of this page.
